Description: The Aurifil Thread Matters workshop features a brief history of Aurifil threads and how thread is made and take you through the experience of stitching with each of the seven thread weights. We will create stitch samples to go into a resource binder that each student will create. Proper needle sizes for the corresponding weights will be discussed and used, as well as creative uses and applications for the threads. You will see samples of quilts that apply the different weights, including a trunk show of quilts, all made with Aurifil threads.
