This quilt began in 2016. Constructed using whole unit turned edge hand applique. It was completely re-made following a disaster during the commercial quilting process. I managed to save about 80% of the applique. The re-make (2020-2023) was completed in 25 strips using the Quilt As You Go method. This allowed me to do the complex quilting on my domestic sewing machine. |

The water was made by layering cotton quilting fabrics with Angelina fibers and polyester organza. It is machine quilted on a stationary sewing machine with free motion quilting. |
