Description: Through stitches, Leora Raikin great niece of artist David Labkovski (1906-1991) and founder of African Folklore Embroidery has fused her two worlds and shares the fascinating journey of these tapestry quilts she has stitched from Vilna, Lithuania to South Africa, Europe and America and how these two pieces of mixed media art are educating audiences today about " the world that was" The visually entertaining lecture combining art, history and stitchery will leave an impact on you forever.
