6001C - Innovative Hand Quilting

Saturday, January 20th 2024 One day

From 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Faculty: Cheryl See
Kit Fee $17.00

Fee $99.00

Skill Level: Beginner - Intermediate

Description: Cheryl’s innovative hand quilting designs can be seen or her award winning quilts, Tatted Hearts, and Hawaiian Improv. Learn how to achieve the look of a longarm with hand quilting by starting with the basics. We will start with the quilter’s knot and rocking the needle to making areas ‘pop’ with trapunto, cording and quilting that is anything but traditional. Fill in background areas with ‘free motion’ quilting by hand. Choose from several designs for your central trapunto (ex: a floating heart).
