1016C - Pioneer Log Cabin

Description: Learn how you can construct a basic log cabin block and build it into an original setting that creates a broken star pattern using dark and light blocks. We will discuss the historic beginning of the log cabin block, layout options, and explore the importance of light and dark color values essential to successful log cabin quilts. In this class we will be using a pre-cut blocks that are perfect for a table runner or pillow. You will learn cutting, piecing, trimming, and pressing. Let us create a Log Cabin that will shine like a star!

Machines Provided by: Janome & Moore's Sewing Centers 

Kit Contents: 8 Pre-Cut Log Cain blocks (fabrics may vary), backing, binding and Pattern
