Teri Lucas, author of Color, Thread & Free-Motion Quilting Learn to Stitch with Reckless Abandon (C&T July 2020), started quilting when her Sweetie suggested she needed a hobby. She is a proficient hand quilter however has found her passion in machine quilting, and teaching machine quilting, and she is still delightfully surprised when the idea she sees in creative brain happens under her needle, particularly when asking, "what would happen if I do this?" Teri loves showing quilters how to adjust tension, use new to us colors, and pairing needles in thread. Teri is learning how to quilt on a Handi Quilter Moxie, and near Austin Texas with her Sweetie.
