SA112 - Double Hexie Star Quilt in 3 Sizes

Saturday, May 22nd 2021 One day

From 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Faculty: Debby Kratovil

Fee $65.00

Class Type: Domestic Machine Work

Skill Level: Beginner - Intermediate

Description: Do you have an awesome fabric that you’d love to feature in the center of a large block? Then this class is for you! Create these fun, giant blocks that only LOOK hard! You will learn how to cut a whole hexagon (any size) using your 60 degree triangle ruler; how to cut the surrounding patches with a few different cuts. Create a stunner with the illusion of intricate piecing around that center hexagon that showcases a favorite motif! And, the bonus - there are NO y-seams! The option of making a one block, two block or 4 block project is yours for the choosing (explained in the Supply List, which also has a planning sheet for your colors.) PDF pattern is supplied free to registered Zoom class students (the day before).

Kit: This Class has no Kit.
