Description: Are you ready to dive into the world of 60o quilting designs? Our Star 60® tool brings the concept of oversizing and trimming down into the realm of 60o shapes. We begin with a basic Star 60 unit, containing a diamond and two small triangles, in 17 different size options, and then team this unit up with a multitude of additional shapes to create an array of amazing 60o quilt projects.

In class, we will be working through the construction steps to create the free bonus project included with the tool instructions. You will learn how to build the basic Star 60 units, assemble them into hexagons, and create the large hexagon center. We will also discuss how to square off the edges to create a small quilt or table topper.

Each student can expect to come away with most of the units pieced and have a sound grasp on how to finish the project at home. We will also discuss some of the extended uses of the tool for potential future 60o projects.

So join me for a day of discovery and solutions for working with those wonderful 60o diamonds, triangles, and hexagons.
