1010C - Feather Basics - Beginning Rulerwork

Description:This is an introductory class for feather designs using templates on domestic sewing machines. Techniques include creating straight and curved spine feathers, feather crowns, and peacock feathers along with general feather designing tips and tricks. Other topics include machine setup, starting and stopping a stitched line, how to use the Westalee feather spine and spacing gauge tools, along with general usage guidance for quilting with templates. This class is technique oriented. The instructor will also provide a trunk show to demonstrate the potential that rulerwork offers for your quilting projects.
