Friday, January 20th 2023 Two Days

From 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Faculty: Lee Chappell Monroe
Kit Fee $100.00

Fee $224.00

Skill Level: Intermediate - Advanced

Description: Carolina Quilts includes two options, Carolina Carousel and Carolina Crossroads. The best part is that you can choose different block elements from each quilt to create a design that is uniquely yours. We will work through the different ways to consider fabric placement for medallion style quilts, as well as plan the quilts using coloring pages. We will start stitching with appliqué for the center using freezer paper. Multiple ways to appliqué the pieces will be demonstrated, including hand and blind machine appliqué. There will also be lots of tips and tricks to accurately piece the patchwork elements. Foundation piecing is used to form diamond blocks with more optional appliqué. This workshop is ideal for a quilter looking to expand or hone their appliqué, foundation paper piecing and patchwork skills. The kit includes enough fabric for the throw size quilt.

Machines Provided by: Brother
