Description: If you are looking for a workshop that is guaranteed to be packed with fun, this workshop is for you! During this fun-filled live workshop, you will discover how to combine Sashiko stitching to create beautiful, innovative quilts, clothing, and DIY items.
Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embellishment using a running stitch of heavy white cotton on indigo fabric and is often combined with conventional American homemade items. We will start at the beginning with a pre-printed Sashiko fabric and threads. Discovering all about needles and thimbles is also part of the fantastic workshop. Join and create with us some Sashiko items.
