Kit Fee $50.00

Skill Level: All Levels

Description: Interested in learning how to spin your own yarn? Have your own wheel, but have never used it or want to take your spinning to the next level? Never even touched a wheel? This class is for you. Join Jennefer Marker, owner of Compass Moon Creations, as she takes you through the whole process of turning a funky, smelly fleece right off a fiber animal and turning it into a beautiful work of art. The following topics will be taught: choosing, cleaning & carding a fleece, dyeing, wheel types and spinning the fiber. A limited amount of wheels will be available to use, with arrangements made prior to class. Don’t have a wheel, but still want to learn all about the fiber prep aspect? This class will be packed with SO much info to get you started for that future time when you do get one, including what to look for in purchasing one.
