Description: Everybody has an old pair of jeans or two in the cupboard. Maybe they don't fit anymore or maybe they are stained. Upcycling is a wonderful way to create a new item or gift without having to buy a lot of new fabrics. Students will upcycle a pair of jeans to make a useful tote bag with fun free range raw-edge applique and freemotion quilting all in one on the longarm machine. Once done, students only have to close up the sides and finish the top edge with binding. Great gifts and usable items that can be personalized without breaking the bank. Join Telene for this fun "let your hair down" class. One student per longarm frame machine will allow for maximum stitching time during this compact 3 hour class with achievable results and a class sample to take home.
