2016C - Advanced Sashiko Designs

Tuesday, January 19th 2027 One day

From 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Faculty: Carol Ziogas
Kit Fee $15.00

Fee $121.00

Skill Level: Intermediate - Advanced

Description: Sure, it’s just a straight stitch, but do you understand the structural dynamics of how complex traditional Sashiko designs come together? Learn about layout, sizing, transferring, placement, and more, without resorting to preprinted/adhesive tools that muck up your needles and clog your thread.

In this class we’re going beyond the grid (my Structured Sashiko/Hitomezashi class) and taking up more space! We'll draft and stitch Sea Urchin/Flower (1 design, 2 variations) and Diamond Waves, two scalable designs that can be used to decorate both large and small scale projects including garments and quilts.

Handwork Class

Kit Contents: Fabric, Thread, Notebook

All Kits are Payable to the Teacher. They are not included when you register.
