Description: Discover how to create vibrant landscapes on fabric using Inktense pencils and paint pans while learning practical color theory you can apply to any project. In this inspiring workshop, textile artist Alessandra Völker will guide students step-by-step in painting a magical enchanted forest scene.
Students will learn how to blend colors, create smooth gradients, build depth, and understand how colors interact to create luminous effects on fabric. You will also explore how Inktense pigments behave when activated with water and how to achieve rich, permanent color. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice in a relaxed and supportive environment, participants will gain confidence working with Inktense while developing a stronger understanding of color.
By the end of the workshop, you will have made great progress on your enchanted forest artwork and gained techniques you can continue using in future textile or mixed-media projects.
