Description: They Got Married mixes bold florals and ombré fabrics to make a captivating Double Wedding Ring quilt. In this class we’ll explore hue, diving deep into creating a vibrant rainbow that flows seamlessly across your quilt to make an updated version of this timeless design. This class will stretch your creativity and color sense.
Students will learn to piece both convex and concave seams, join curved seams to match a four-patch, and accurately attach melons to center units using inset seams. They will also learn pressing techniques that ensure seams nest smoothly and reduce bulk in the quilt top. Finally, students will gain experience sewing an on-point quilt with curved seams, rather than traditional straight seams.
