6014C - Sashiko & Boro - Storytelling Through Stitches

Skill Level: Beginner - Intermediate

Description: Sashiko is more than just white thread on blue fabric. Whether you're just starting with hand sewing, or an experienced stitcher looking to expand your technical skills, this class will give you the tools and confidence to create something new and uniquely yours. We'll hand piece and embellish a placemat-sized piece that can be used as-is when finished, or added into other projects such as a tote bag, pillow case, wallhanging, etc.

Kit Contents:
Backing fabric, sashiko needles, sashiko thread, palm thimble, fabric for piecing

All Kits are Payable to the Teacher. They are not included when you register.
