Hi my name is Nancy,

I started sewing at a very young age, making cloths for my dolls and later for myself. I come from a large family of 10 kids, so the only way to get a new outfit was to make it yourself. Technically, I made my first quilt when I was about 11 years old. 

I have been teaching the art of quilt-making for over 25 years.  

My YouTube channel, OnPoint-TV has over 50,000 subscribers at this time and I still teach in a local shop and anywhere else I can.

I love to teach beginners and advanced techniques – from efficient and accurate rotary cutting to creating your own fabric using many painting techniques, piecing; traditional, improvisational and paper piecing and quilting.  I haven’t found a quilting technique I didn’t love – from beginning to end – by hand and by machine – the art of & teaching quilt-making brings me joy.
