"Turning colorful wood into useful, beautiful tools since 1978." My creative journey began while driving (on a lark) from NH to CA, then joining Berkeley's street artist scene—after finishing college at UCSF. Dad's $500 con"grad"ulations gift paid for second-hand woodworking tools and I began creating “pocket boxes” with toothpick hinges. Followed by silly toys (names-on-wheels) and gadgets designed to manage some job for me (magne-dots) or a customer (magnetic scissor pendant). Since 2009 my focus has been designing and handcrafting essential tools for fiber artists—some of which have been featured in magazines of the trade, like Quilter's Home, Just CrossStitch, Stitch with Style, and Vogue Patterns. Juried membership in the League of NH Craftsmen (since 2010) prompted creating an introductory workshop video for their 87th Annual (virtual) Craftsmen'
