Description: Are you new to quilting or comfortable with basic free-motion designs and now want to add a few feathers to your quilt tops? Join Sarah as she takes you through a handful of feather motifs and styles that work well together and can be customized to each individual's likes and abilities. This workshop will have you both drawing and working on the machine to determine your personal feather style as well as learning various techniques to create feather motifs. In the second half of class, you will learn how to achieve perfect continuous (formal) feathers. Also learn how to use rulers, stencils, and other items to help fit and form your feather work.
