Description: Students will learn to create personalized, hand embroidered quilt labels using five core stitches: Back Stitch, Stem Stitch, Chain Stitch, Brick Stitch, and Satin Stitch. We will explore how thread weight and stitch choice affect the look of lettering, and how to choose the right combination for your style. The class also includes label sizing, fabric selection, placement, and attachment methods. Students will leave with a completed embroidery sample and the confidence to design custom labels for any future quilt.
