Description: Improv Log Cabins is your opportunity to try a new spin on the traditional log cabin block. You choose small or large scale. Then play with a variety of options including size of strips, background placement, and symmetry for your own unique improv log cabins. Numerous improv piecing techniques will be demonstrated. Students can expect to construct one or more improv log cabins in class, depending on the scale you choose. Iterating on a design and quilting ideas will be discussed.
