Description:The Peacock EPP Project Finished Size: 20" x 20" Technique: English Paper Piecing English paper piecing is a technique where fabric is wrapped around paper templates and secured with basting stitches or glue. I teach using glue basting, but other techniques are discussed briefly and welcome to be used. The pieces are then sewn together by hand. We will begin our time discussing general information about English paper piecing, best practices and tools. Then we will begin our project together and work step by step through english paper piecing. Throughout the class period I will stop the group and demonstrate as questions arise. Before the end of our time together we will cover paper removal, finishing and quilting. EPP is a slow process. Be prepared for a leisure class time of project preparation and slow sewing.
